Both our Festival Plays were Award Winning!
Mezzamorphoses’ production of Part One of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” was highly rated by the adjudicators and is through to the next round of The All England Theatre Festival as overall Runner Up Best Play and will appear at The Blackmore Theatre, Exmouth, in the evening of 22nd April representing the Best of Devon Plays 2017. Alice Crouch, as Bottom, won Best Actor under 21 for the second time!
Mezzalchemy’s production of “The Three Foolish Fools” also won awards for Best Youth with high praise from the adjudicators.
Helena Lewis, as Moll Whiney, won Runner Up Best Actor under 21, also for the second time. Olivia (Loulee) Jones won Best Clarity and Diction overall.
Original Script ~ The script of “Three Foolish Fools” was recommended to go through to a Best Play Writing Competition 2017 too!
